In an area populated by hippies, rednecks and stagnant thinking, the experimental rock electronica group Catharsis combats their humid climate with blaring synths, piercing guitar leads and hypnotizing drum programming. By lifting the dust from where they are from and showing how small towns can inspire some of the most original music, Catharsis sets to make a stain on the underground music scene.
